Dick & Jane Take Spot To The Groomer
7:15 Jane arrives with
Spot early and stands out front while he relieves himself on the
glass door. “Sorry” says Jane as he continues to water plants
inside. Sally Stylist smiles, “No problem, I’ll clean that up”.
7:30 Sally Stylist brings Spot to the table to prep for bath.
Ring Ring the shampoo salesman is on the phone, 7:45 Ding Dong
Miss B is here with Fluffy. “I’ll be right with you.” Sally says
and hurries Spot back to a waiting crate.
Ding Dong Mr D is here
with Fi Fi and “Could you clip her a little shorter this time? We
would rather not have to come this often.” “I’ll sure take care
of that for you” Sally smiles. 8:30 Ring Ring Jane is expecting
company today, can Spot be ready at 10:00 at the latest? “I’ll
try to have him ready by 10:00” Sally says weakly. 8:35 retrieve
Spot from his crate and bathe. Ring Ring, “Can you groom my
poodle today?” Sally says, “Come on in”. 8:45 take Spot to
drying table to be dried & fluffed.
Ring Ring sales man
with fantastic magnet offer, Ding Dong ad salesman from phone book
stops in. 9:10 Spot has pooped in his cage and has it all over
his feet and cage and even on the wall. Back to the tub with
Spot. Wash soiled areas. Re-dry and clean his cage. 9:30 start
trimming and shaping Spot.
9:45 Ding Dong, Jane is
early. Spot is happy, Sally smiles “I just need to finish his
feet”. Jane is a busy person and after all, spot has been there
for 3 hours. “You do beautiful work, but for the life of me, I
don’t know why it takes so long” Jane says with a grin. Sally
smiles and says thank you, come again.
WHEW ~ and that was
just ONE DOG!!!!
